Ukrainian Parliament passed Bill No. 8182 with support from both parties, allowing a temporary Value-Added Tax (VAT) exemption on imports and the distribution of goods for winter due to the inflationary effects of tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

The Parliament has proposed the following measures:

A temporary waiver of Value Added Tax (VAT) will be in effect until April 1, 2023 for certain products used in heating such as electric generator sets and gas or fuel-based cooking appliances. However, this exemption does not apply to goods imported from Russia or Belarus.

 Passing the law will make it simpler and more cost-effective for both individuals and budget organizations to acquire the necessary items included in this bill. Shopping will become a breeze!
