The next World Defense Show is proving to be very popular. Organizers for the expo have to add a third hall to accommodate more people. The exhibition site is now 25% larger than planned.
The World Defense Show is set for February 4 to 8, 2024. Riyadh will once again play host to the four-day event
The 2024 Defense Show is only in its second year. It shines a spotlight on the future of defense. Its commitment includes developing the premier B2B Connect initiative for the defense industry.
The prestigious event has King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud as its patron. It’s also organized with the help of its partner, Saudi’s Ministry of Defense. The exhibit is also supported by the Interior Ministry and the National Guard.
World Defense Show CEO Andrew Pearcy said the response to the event is overwhelming. He said their exhibition space is already sold out. He advised people to hurry and register as a visitor. This guarantees they can join in the various exciting programs.
The World Defense Show was first held in 2022. The four-day event culminated in the signing of defense deals. These agreements were worth SR29.6 billion or $7.89 billion.
Pearcy is expecting exhibitors to close more valuable defense deals in 2024. His confidence in this is due to the event running for more than five days. He also believes the rising interest in Saudi Arabia’s defense market will bring in more people.
The World Defense Show 2024 will see 65 countries participating as exhibitors. 23 of these countries are joining the expo for the first time.
WDS 2024 boasts many features and programs. Participants have the chance to join the B2B Connect program. Organizers have expanded this initiative. It’s now set to run for three days.
A much-awaited feature is the return of the Delegations Program. The platform allows Exhibitors to connect with high-ranking government representatives. It will open the doors for their possible expansion into specific global markets.
Another program to look forward to is the “Meet the KSA Government.” It gives guests the chance to learn about Saudi Arabia’s business guidelines. It also provides new information on investment requirements. It also explains the country’s partnership procedures. These work in conjunction with the goals of the country’s defense industry.
The World Defense Show 2024 will also be introducing the Space Arena. It’s a new addition to the program. It will highlight innovative technologies and their capabilities. These technologies will emphasize the Kingdom’s strategic space goals. It will also showcase future space prospects that the KSA and its partners can explore.
